Shy Brew and Saving Grace

With two locations to choose from and 25 draft beers available, Two Shy Brewery doubled up with Saving Grace, an adoption center in Roseburg to bring the monthly "Two Shy Tuesdays" to light once again.

Terry reminded me of the event that comes along every first Tuesday of the month to do fundraising for the Saving Grace pet adoption center. Dogs are welcome!

We headed into the crowded bar area to see what they had going on during this month's event. Of course, I had to stop and pet the pooches along the way. The first was a goldendoodle and wow, was she ever sweet! I love doodles!

The second pup I ran into was a shepherd mix and she was adorable. Shame on me, I forgot her name, but she is ready to find her forever home too.

There was quite a group gathered tonight and the fun was just getting started. We signed up for the monthly basket raffle and then headed outside to the food truck. This month's truck was the Relished Dog truck, complete with all types of dogs. Terry ordered a dog buried in sauerkraut and goodies. Mine was a hotdog with chili flavored beans, lettuce, cheese, and bacon all piled high. It was delicious! Terry enjoyed his meal too.

We didn't stick around too long this time, as we had stuff to do at home, but every time the people are friendly, the music is either live or recorded, and the beers are flowing. The best part of the evening though is always the dog viewing. Not only do the dogs who are up for adoption get to be paraded throughout the venue, but the dogs who come with their owners also get to join in on the action.

Terry and I went, we visited, we viewed, patted pets, and conquered dinner. Our goal now is to head home and get things done! Visit the Two Shy Brewery if you ever get a chance! It can be a night filled with fun, laughter, happy visitors, and the dogs! Oh, the dogs!

Note: I just got a call about 20 minutes after writing this and found out my name was drawn in the raffle! Terry and I won a basket full of cute toys for the babies! This means another blog post tomorrow to show off the little people's toys!

We were able to snag a huge wooden table underneath a nice warm heater. Terry went up to get food and drinks.

Terry was ordering at the food truck from Relished Dog.

Terry's hot dog came complete with sauerkraut, cheese, and various other must haves on a dog of this caliber.

We arrived fairly early. Hardly anyone was sitting outside. All the commotion was inside.

This yummy pile of food was created by the Relished Dog. Wow, what a meal they make out of a hotdog. There were slices of hotdog, cheese, lettuce, bacon, and a touch of BBQ sauce. It was awesome and way too much food.

The night was a success, although I missed not seeing more dogs. The dogs weren't out in full capacity tonight. No hugs and kisses and tails wagging. Sad, really. Terry and I always have a great time when we go anywhere together, and tonight was no different. I love spending time with him. We laugh and use the time to talk about our day and catch up on any news. It's always fun hanging out with him and tonight was no exception.
