What a Wonderful World (Photo Drop)
Signs of spring are still everywhere while the rain is pelting the ground to fill rivers quickly. The last pieces of winter of traveling through time. Soon the earth will return with a warm calmness of summer.
Our world is so precious, so beautiful, even though we take it for granted most times. Beauty explodes everywhere during the months of spring, delivering shade trees and greenery for our summer months. Our planet is consistently changing and giving us all we need to exist.
During this week, the deliveries I made took me into places of absolute breath taking scenery. Mallory and I had to stop and shoot photos to share on the blog. I would like to present a photo shoot of this week to give a glimpse into our surrounding nature and what stunningly beautiful artwork we saw.
Gorgeous magnolia tree we spotted along our delivery route.

While waiting at a red light, this cute pup took an opportunity to check things out through the sun roof.

Meanwhile, back at the Macrae ranch, our fur babies are sharing the couch together. Why is this something we are impressed by? Esme, the gray and black kitty is new to the menagerie. As a stray, she endured quite a bit in her life. She came to us missing fur on her right side. She is making a home here and we could not be happier about that. Kit and Esme are still in the stage of checking each other out. Taking this nap together is a good sign of things to come.

This girl was outside the Soup & Sandwich Shop, sharing lunch with her daddy. I love her little hoodie and the way she was sitting up in the chair.

Clues that spring is here are the ducklings we saw at the local duck pond. Ducks, geese, pigeons, and other fowl spend their time here. These tiny babies would follow mom until she found something to nibble on. While waiting for their parent to finish a nibble, they would fold their legs and lay on the pavement to soak up the heat. When mom moved, so did they. It was a follow, drop, and repeat routine.
Mallory eventually got to pick up one of the ducklings after their mother took off for a bit. She kissed its fuzzy face and then set it back down. All was good.
Our trip to the duck pond gave us a nice break. It was definitely a beautiful day!

We had a good run today as well. I looked down at the dashboard at one point and noticed the temp and mileage numbers we had displayed. Interesting but it's a good thing I'm not superstitious. Instead, these came across to me as angel numbers. It's a beautiful thing.

As the day went on, we had a 40 minute run to another town called Glide. If you follow the blog, Glide is where the Colliding Rivers attraction is. Further on up the highway, Mallory and I delivered some food and then took a few moments to pull off the side of the road to enjoy the Umpqua River.
Huge rock sitting beside the river. I had thought it might be nice to sit inside the split across the rock but the thought of what happens if someone sat there and the rock cracked ... that would end a good day.
At this point in the river the water split and fell over several rocks, creating some tiny water falls and a rapids area. Beautiful.
I love the sound of water splashing over rocks.
(For the video below, go full screen and turn up the volume! The river is caught in slow motion)
Relaxing time spent, we headed for the city of Roseburg again to do more deliveries.

About an hour later, we found ourselves on the other side of things with a delivery out beyond Happy Valley. This field of yellow flowers caught our attention. Flowers of bright yellow juxtaposed the green of the field made this location stand out. Although the pictures don't do it justice.
