Photo Montage of the Week's Adventures

The week of April 5th to the 11th was recorded in pictures. We sure had a great week, with the inclusion of Mother's Day in Eugene too. Our gathering was small this year so the camera was held at bay during our visit. The rest of the week was recorded.

Mallory and I went into the old Lookingglass store in Lookingglass, Oregon. Imagine that location. 😜😏

I had to snag some photos of the store as I admired the historical look and feel. We walked into the building and experienced all of the old wooden flooring and the antiques sitting around the shop. I did not take photos inside due to the people shopping in the store.

I was intrigued by the old cement steps, wagon wheel, and the old fire hydrant in front of the store.

White paint covering the storefront was worn and tired looking, but still held strong. Small knicks were throughout the paint coverage exploring the idea of years gone by.

Porch surfaces were covered with the old wooden planks that were still in good condition, along with the original decorative railing. I love old buildings that have a story to tell.

Flowers galore from our climbing rose bush out front. Beside the roses is a pink lemonade honeysuckle bush that is also enjoying this year's rainfall and sunshine mix.

Maple trees are coming to life after the long slumber through winter.

More outdoor fun when I spotted this cutie patootie. Apparently someone lost a pet rabbit. The bunny has now burrowed into the ground, creating a den to stay safe and sound.

Tiny flowers opened up on the bouquet Terry gave me for our anniversary date.

This little guy was yelling "hello" at us during a delivery.

Our little Esme has become quite comfortable in her new home since we rescued her as a feral. She loves sleeping by her daddy and sometimes her mom.

Mother's Day was awesome, but we were missing a couple of family members. We enjoyed seeing each other once again.

My oldest daughter Dawn gave me a huge vase of beautiful roses.

A gorgeous diamond art picture came next ... loved it!

Brandy, my youngest daughter, walked in with several bags. She had made everyone these glasses. They come with a glass straw, with a lid. Each one had a different design she had chosen especially for the person the gift was intended for. Mine was this design.

Of course the glass is clear but here I have an orange drink in it. I love the designs she chose and the colors and sentiment on mine is awesome!

I loved the gathering. We had a sandwich bar full of fruit, chips and dips, and of course, potato salad, veggies and ranch, plus a nice bar full of meats, cheese, lettuce, tomato, olives, and other goodies to make awesome sandwiches. We also had cupcakes and ice cream cake for dessert.

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and those fathers who make it happen when raising their children, playing the role of both mom and dad. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

We will end this post here. Thank you once again for reading the blog. We appreciate you! Terry and I also enjoy all of you sharing in our adventures and memories. As time moves so quickly, we believe all of our memories should be kept safe, here, in our blog.

Until our next post, take care of yourselves.
