Short and Sweet
We all know life just isn't long enough. Often it will seem as though it takes forever to get through a day, week, month, or even a year or two, yet after that time has flown by, it seems so short. Far too short to enjoy our lives and the lives of those around us, furry or not.
It's a good practice to stop and really live in the moment. Enjoy each second we have on this rock, and especially when we are young. Be in the "now" and ensure each precious moment of your life is lived to the fullest.

Speaking of enjoying life, my husband has really booked us for a great summertime plan. First, we are going to Eugene for the Blue Oyster Cult concert. A musical event Terry cannot miss. I love the group too, but for him it will be a night spent rocking out his soul.
Later this month, we will be leaving for an anniversary trip to Disneyland. Yes, that magical place, the TV and movie star mouse's home. I have never been to Disneyland and Terry wants to ensure I see it at least once before we get too old to endure those rides and not quite so healthy foods often served at fairs, carnivals, and Disneyland. Let's go have some fun!
Next month, we will be going to another concert. One in Eugene again, featuring a group from back in the day called Lynyrd Skynyrd, one of my favorite bands from my childhood and adulthood as well. That will be a blast as well.
It will be a crazy start to a busy (but fun) beginning of a summer we won't soon forget. Plus, our anniversary this June 17th marks our third year of marital bliss. I cannot believe it has been three years already.
This week's blog post will be rather boring, as we really did not do anything except wait for that wonderful countdown for ticket sales on Friday morning.
The countdown began at 9:00 AM. It flew by quickly and then the madness to get on there before anyone else was on. We completed the process with wonderful seats in Row A out of a quickly dissolving choice of premium seats. We're in, and we are planting our derrieres right up front. This added to the excitement of going to this concert. Pictures are a must, of course.

I am still working as a delivery driver as often as possible. I'm always ready and willing, but the orders that come through are often sparse lately, due to the high cost of everything. Nobody can afford to call delivery places when it comes to lunch or dinner, or even those breakfasts while they are at work.
Terry is working the two days per week at the Veteran's Administration, reading and smoking those cigars to relax. His love has turned towards our life, the pets, the poetry, and bless his heart, helping others.
Meanwhile, back on the ranch, I still take photos while walking Togo, our Siberian husky. Taking photos of the weeds that grow in the alley or even birds or the sky. Yes, I'm that bored. Hell, I'd take a photo of a rock if I thought it had some type of glimmer in it.

Well, dear friends, I am going to cut this one short. We have so much to look forward to, yet we are so relaxed this week and the upcoming days until our departure for concerts and the visit to see the wizard, Walt Disney, and his entertainment creation.
Until next week or until something comes up that is worth posting, hugs to each of you and a basket of gratefulness to you as well. We are grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for reading the blog and enjoying the memories we share.
